Even former governor and sometimes stooge Pat McCrory called what just happened in the North Carolina General Assembly this past week unconstitutional.
Under the guise Hurricane Helene relief, a bill crafted in secret and never debated was ramrodded through a lame duck session which gave more powers to the NC General Assembly that are to be taken away from the offices of people duly elected by the citizens.
The most powerful gerrymandered politician in that state also offered up some pungent entrees of his own when as a lawyer, he decided to reinvent the truth.
One of the most powerful Republican politicians in North Carolina is spreading false claims about election fraud and needs to publicly retract his statements before his supporters resort to violence, the state’s top elections official said Thursday.
And even Tricia Cotham’s soulless exoskeleton offered something in that “lame chicken” session: lies about the voucher scheme that just siphoned off even more money from public schools.
Cotham, a Mecklenburg County Republican, argued that expansion of the Opportunity Scholarship program is needed because a “predominance” of North Carolina’s public schools have a D or F grade. She also claimed that the “predominance” of families seeking a private school voucher is from the lowest economic status.
Actually,
Her lies just add to the flavor of Sen. Berger’s b***sh** and the lame chicken session just served in Raleigh.
